Let’s draw up your move.

The Move

The basics of where you’re coming from and where you’re headed.

You can change any answer, on any sheet, before you finish.

A city or borough is enough. You can change it later.

A guarantor is a person living in the UK who agrees to pay your rent if you cannot. Landlords often ask for one when you have no UK renting history.

Any accessibility needs or specific community priorities? Tick anything that applies. Optional.

An estimate is fine — you can adjust it later. We use it to time the slow steps (and, if you have children, their school year).

Field notes appear here as you go — the things we’ve already spotted about your move.

What your free scorecard tells you

Seven sheets, a few minutes, and you get a readout of where your move stands: a readiness score out of 100, a verdict on whether your budget works for the area you have in mind, named areas that fit the way you live, the risks I’d flag, and — if you have children — an education risk rating for each of them. It’s the part of a Blueprint you can see before you decide whether you want the rest.

Is the scorecard the Blueprint?

No. The scorecard is the free readout. The Blueprint is the whole plan — where to live, what it actually costs each month, what to do and when. I draw up every one from your answers before it goes out.

Do I need an account?

No. You answer the sheets and see your result. Nothing to register for.

What if I don’t know where in the UK I’m moving to yet?

Tick "Not sure yet — help me decide" on the first sheet. The scorecard names areas for you rather than asking you to pick one.

Who draws it up?

I’m Matthew — sixteen years in Greater Manchester property, the last decade moving international families into the North of England. My brother Adrian’s a school leader and draws up the schooling. Nothing goes out that we haven’t put together ourselves.
