Privacy Policy
This policy explains what data Moovedin Ltd ("we", "us") collects when you use moovedin.com, why we collect it, how we use it, and what rights you have. We've tried to keep it plain-English. If anything is unclear, email hello@moovedin.com and we'll explain.
1. Who we are
Moovedin Ltd is the data controller for personal data collected through this website. We're registered in England and Wales (company number 17230587). Our ICO registration number is ZC152194. You can reach us at hello@moovedin.com.
2. What we collect and why

Keeping track of your Blueprint. When we send your login email, our email provider tells us whether it was sent, delivered or bounced. We do not track whether you open the email or click its links. We also record whether you, and anyone you have added to your Blueprint, have set up a login and when each of you last signed in, when your Blueprint was first opened, last opened and last saved, and how many tasks are ticked. We use this only to check that your Blueprint reached you and to spot if something has gone wrong. It is kept for the same 18-month period as the rest of your Blueprint, and it is included when you ask for a copy of your data or ask us to delete it.
How long we keep free scorecard data is set out in Section 5.
3. Who we share it with
We do not sell your data. We share it only with the suppliers we need to run the service:
- Stripe — payment processing. Stripe receives your payment details directly; we never see or store your card number.
- Anthropic — the AI system that drafts your Blueprint. Your questionnaire answers are sent to Anthropic's API so your Blueprint can be written. Every factual figure in your Blueprint comes from our own curated data, not from the AI.
- Resend — email delivery. Receives your email address and the contents of the emails we send you.
- Netlify — website hosting and data storage.
- Google — website analytics and advertising measurement. If you accept analytics cookies, Google Analytics receives information about how you use the site. If you accept marketing cookies, Google Ads receives information about visits to the site and whether you completed our scorecard. Google does not receive your name, email address or questionnaire answers. See "Advertising and measurement" below.
- Mapbox and postcodes.io — mapping and postcode lookup. These receive area and postcode information, not your personal details.
- Meta — advertising measurement. If you accept marketing cookies, Meta receives information about which pages you visit here, and may receive contact details you enter in forms, including your email address, in hashed form so it can measure and target our advertising. It does not receive your Blueprint. See "Advertising and measurement" below.
- Clerk (Clerk, Inc., United States) — provides the login for your Blueprint. Clerk stores your email address, name if you give one, your password in hashed form, and technical sign-in data such as IP address and device. Data is transferred to the United States under Clerk's Data Processing Addendum incorporating the EU/UK standard contractual clauses. We do not share your Blueprint contents with Clerk.
- Microsoft (Clarity) — website analytics. If you accept analytics cookies, Clarity records how you use the site (clicks, scrolling, page movement, device and browser type). Typed text is masked and never sent, and your scorecard results are hidden from recordings. Microsoft processes this on our behalf.
- Reddit — advertising measurement. If you accept marketing cookies, the Reddit Pixel tells us when visits and sign-ups came from our Reddit ads.
- MailerLite — sends our emails about your move. It receives your email address only if you tick a box to hear from us (on the scorecard, when you save your plan, or when you claim a Blueprint). It then stores your name if you've given one, a summary of your scorecard (your readiness score, weakest area and destination), the month you plan to arrive (or that you're already here), and the link to your scorecard. If you buy or claim a Blueprint, it also records that you're a customer.
4. Advertising and measurement
Where you have accepted marketing cookies, we share limited information with Meta Platforms Ireland Limited, Reddit and Google Ireland Limited so that we can measure the effectiveness of our advertising and show adverts to people who have visited this site.
What we share with Meta: information about your activity on this site, such as pages viewed and whether you completed our scorecard. Where the feature known as advanced matching is enabled, this also includes contact details you enter into forms on this site, such as your email address and telephone number. These details are converted into an irreversible scrambled form (a hash) by your browser before they are sent, so Meta does not receive them in a readable form. Meta uses the hash to check whether it matches an existing Meta account, so that our advertising can be measured and targeted more accurately.
What we share with Reddit: information about your activity on this site, such as pages viewed, when you open or complete our scorecard, and the value of any Blueprint you buy. We never send Reddit your name or email address. Like any advertising pixel, it also collects technical details such as your IP address and browser.
What we share with Google, through Google Analytics and Google Ads: information about your activity on this site, including whether you completed our scorecard. We do not share your contact details with Google.
Our lawful basis for this sharing is your consent, which you give by accepting marketing cookies. You can withdraw it at any time using the cookie settings link in the footer. Withdrawing consent stops any further sharing but does not affect sharing that has already taken place.
Meta and Google act as independent controllers of the data once they receive it, and their own privacy policies govern what they do with it. Meta: facebook.com/privacy/policy. Google: policies.google.com/privacy.
Reddit uses the data it receives under its own privacy policy.

5. How long we keep it
We keep your Blueprint and the information behind it for 18 months after delivery, so you can return to it during your tenancy and at renewal. Enquiries that do not become orders are deleted within 12 months. Free scorecard results are kept for 180 days and then deleted automatically. Your saved link stops working at the same point. If you buy a Blueprint, the answers you gave become part of your Blueprint record and are kept as set out above. If you join a nation list, we keep your email for that purpose until we've emailed you about it or you ask to be removed, and for no longer than 24 months. Records we are required to keep for tax purposes are held for six years.
Your login account is deleted when your Blueprint's retention period ends, or sooner if you ask us to.
Most data we review and delete manually. If you leave the scorecard before giving your email address, your answers stay in your browser and are not sent to us. A scorecard saved without an email address is stored only against a private link and is deleted automatically after 90 days. You can ask us to delete everything we hold about you at any time, and we will do it — see "Your rights" below.
6. Where your data is stored
Most of our processors are based in the US or EU. Where data leaves the UK, we rely on the UK International Data Transfer Agreement, the EU Standard Contractual Clauses, or each provider's UK adequacy framework — all of which the ICO recognises as appropriate safeguards.
7. Transfers outside the UK
Some of our suppliers are based in the United States, including Stripe, Anthropic, Resend, Netlify, Google, Meta, Microsoft and Reddit. This means your information may be processed outside the UK. Where that happens, transfers are made under the safeguards permitted by UK data protection law — the UK International Data Transfer Addendum, or an adequacy decision where one applies. You can ask us for more detail at any time. MailerLite is based in the EU.
8. Your rights
Under UK GDPR you have the right to:
- Access — get a copy of the data we hold about you. A copy we provide includes the answers you gave us and your order records. It does not include the finished Blueprint document itself, which you already have permanent access to through your own private link.
- Rectification — correct anything that's wrong.
- Erasure — ask us to delete your data.
- Restriction — ask us to stop using your data for a particular purpose.
- Portability — get your data in a portable format to take elsewhere.
- Object — object to us using your data on the basis of legitimate interest.
- Withdraw consent — at any time, for anything you previously consented to (e.g. the newsletter).
- Complain to the ICO — if you think we've handled your data badly. Their website is ico.org.uk.

10. Children's information
Our service is for adults. We do not knowingly collect information directly from children.
Where you are moving with children, we ask you for limited details about them — such as month and year of birth, current school year, and the curriculum they are studying — so we can work out UK year-group placement and admissions deadlines for your Blueprint. We ask only for what is needed to do that. We do not ask for children's names, and we do not ask for medical or special educational needs information beyond what you choose to tell us.
This information is held under the same retention period as the rest of your Blueprint, and is deleted along with it on request.
11. Changes to this policy
If we make material changes we'll update the "Last updated" date at the top, and — for significant changes — let newsletter subscribers know by email.
