The Baltic Triangle is the old warehouse district just south of the city centre, and over the last fifteen years it has turned into the place where the creative and tech businesses sit alongside the bars, the food halls and the music venues. It is where I send single professionals and couples who want to walk to work and be in the middle of it.
Almost everything to rent here is a flat, most of it in converted warehouses or newer blocks built since 2015. Quality varies a lot between buildings, so the name of the development matters more than the street.
It is a ten to fifteen minute walk to Liverpool One and Lime Street, and the Royal Hospital and the universities are a twenty minute walk or a short bus ride the other way.
It is lively at weekends and some streets are noisy late. If you want quiet, ask which side of the building the bedroom faces, and come and stand outside on a Saturday night before you sign.

Lime Street and Liverpool Central are both a fifteen minute walk. Central puts you on the Merseyrail network for the airport side of the city and the coast. By car it is close to the end of the M62 and the Queensway tunnel to the Wirral. Driving to Halewood or the airport is twenty to thirty minutes.
